Events will include presentations of books, catalogues or important exhibitions. The meetings are hosted in the Zeri Library. They give authors, editors and scholars the opportunity to discuss topics related to history of art, museums, collections, conservation, photography.

The Foundation promotes study days on specific topics related to history of art, connoisseurship and history of collecting involving Italian and international universities, professors and scholars.

The Foundation promotes meetings and lectures open to the pubblic which can contribute to the knowledge of art history and of themes related to the cultural heritage such as preservation, cataloguing of photography, libraries, archives.

Exhibitions

Together with the enhancement of its collections through digitizing, the Foundation organizes exhibitions of documents and photographic materials – some of them old and rare – as well as books or catalogues from the Zeri collections These exhibitions are put on at the Zeri Foundation and accompanied by guided tours so that this special heritage may be brought to the attention of the public, not just scholars.

Video projections

The video projections curated by The Zeri Foundation intend to raise awareness of the extraordinary video documentation of Federico Zeri's appearances on television from 1974 to 1997, his role as a pioneer in historical artistic dissemination on TV, and also to delve deeper into the role of art history documentaries in Italy starting with Roberto Longhi.
