The Zeri Library is open with the following rules:

  • Opening days:  from Monday to Friday
  • Opening hours: from 10 am to 5.30 pm
  • Reservations are not required
  • One may bring in small bags and backpacks, lockers may be used on request

AUCTION CATALOGUES DATED 1880-1929 ARE TEMPORARILY EXCLUDED FROM CONSULTATION AND DOCUMENT DELIVERY DUE TO THE ONGOING DIGITALIZATION PROJECT

THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS:

  • Monday, March 31
  • from April 7 to 28 inclusive, for fire prevention system upgrades
  • Thursday and Friday, May 1 and 2

 

How to use the library

One helps oneself to books on open shelving, and leaves them on the special trolley after use.

Volumes from restricted sections may be asked for upon arrival.

Photographic material must be left on the table where one has consulted it. 

  • ICT stations: reading room ICT stations may be used for bibliographic searches
  • Use of the photocopier/scanner: it is necessary to purchase a special paid card available at most University of Bologna libraries
  • Reproductions by own means: permitted
  • Reproductions by any means within the limit of 15% of the volume, according to legal provisions
