The search string allows cross-searching across all collections, items and documents described or catalogued in the photo archive, and on the Zeri Library’s auction catalogue collection.
On the SEARCH bar you may insert one or more terms to be sought among the following databases: PHOTO ARCHIVE CATALOGUE, EXPLORE THE COLLECTIONS, AUCTION CATALOGUES.
RESULT SET
The results obtained from a search are sorted by default according to PHOTOS.
From the drop-down menu “Sort by” at the top left, results may be rearranged according to: TITLE, DATA, RELEVANCE, TYPE of the resource.
The “Results shown” menu allows you to vary the amount of results viewable on one page up to a maximum of 100.
The facets on the right enable you to refine your search by TYPE (PHOTO, ARTWORK, ATTACHMENT, COLLECTION, SERIES, FOLDER, AUCTION CATALOGUE), PERSON/CORPORATE BODY, SUBJECT.
The cards in the result lists, which give access to the detailed entries, report the context (collection/series/folder) to which the document belongs.
From the buttons at the top right or bottom of each entry you can:
- Send an e‐mail to the Federico Zeri Foundation suggesting an update on a work or photo, or ask for information about to the collection/folder/item
- Go to the search mask for a specific catalogue
- Share an entry by e‐mail or on a social network
- Print out the entry
For artworks, documents, photographs and catalogues one may:
- Send the Zeri Foundation an e-mail asking for an image reproduction or a document delivery
- Go back to the previous search
